December 16th and 17th, the last two days of the international auction of "The big four" (50 x 70 cm), illustration by Argentinean artist and tango dancer Marcela Troncoso, representing the four big names in Tango history, Osvaldo Pugliese, Anibal Troilo, Juan D´Arienzo, and Carlos Di Sarli.

The tango association Camarin, from Malmö, Sweden, current owner of the work, organizes this auction.
The last offer received is 4,500 SEK (Swedish crowns)

La T recommends: Klubb Baires & Tango´s Day on 11 December at Mitt Möllan, Malmö

Klubb Baires & Tango´s Day on 11 December!

This year's last Klubb Baires celebrates the international Tango´s Day  at Mitt Möllan in Malmö with live music / concert, try to tango open class, Tango shoes sales and mingle.

Tango Day is internationally celebrated  on December 11 every year. The famous tango singer Carlos Gardel was born on this day, probably in 1890, and also the composer and orchestra director Julio De Caro, in 1899.

Klubb Baires invites this time with concert by Tango Primo:  Hedda Heiskanen (piano and violin) , Per Tidstrand (cello)  & Juanjo Passo ( bandoneon and guitar).

The event is organized in collaboration with Alfajores Dulcita,  La T milonga, TangoKompaniet and  Camarin tango association.

• Start: at 12.00
• 12.00 - 12.45 Try to Tango free class with Marcela Troncoso/ La T milonga.
• 13.00 - 13.30 Tango Primo. Concert.
• 13.30 - 15.30 Mingle.

     Professional tango dancer and teacher, born and based in Argentina, he started dancing tango in 1994 and since then he travelled all over Europe, Usa and South America, performing and teaching tango.
     His formation includes the best Argentinean tango teachers: Zotto, Copes, Los Cieri, Fabián Salas, Games-Angió, Balmaceda-de la Rosa, Naveira, among many others.
     He has performed and taught in many tango festivals and for several tango associations in Great Britain, Portugal, Poland, Spain, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Chile, Usa, Germany, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy.
     Victor is well known for his elegant dancing style, his unique pedagogic system, and his empathetic approach to his students.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

• Learn about connecting points and essential rules of connection, in the embrace and through all body. Understand how to communicate better. We will focus on the ENERGY (dynamics, suspensions, rebounds, among others) in the USE OF THE SPACE, and the essentials of combining crossed and parallel systems, without missing the connection.
• Use the fundamentals of connection in different dance situations . Expect a different way to understand your tango dance, that will change your outcome on the dance floor from the first class.
• This course is the continuation of Tango Connection. If you have not been in the first part, you are also welcome, since the thematic is different, and the concepts in common for both courses will be summarized at the beginning.
