La T milonga is an space OPEN TO EVERYBODY, dancers, tango enthusiasts, teachers, and artists in general from all Sweden and abroad, where everybody shares KNOWLEDGE AND PASSION FOR TANGO, no matter level or origin, from an OPEN-MINDED VIEWPOINT.
LA T, weekly meeting point for Malmö´s tango community, offers the traditional milonga (dancing meeting), open classes, courses with local and guest teachers, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and many others activities.

La T milonga es un espacio abierto a todos, bailarines, musicos, entusiastas y profesores de tango, y artistas en general de toda Suecia y otros paies, para compartir el conocimiento y la pasion por el tango, sin importar nivel ni origen, desde una mentalidad abierta.
La T , punto de encuentro semanal para la comunidad tanguera de Malmö, ofrece milonga (encuentro para bailar), clases abiertas, cursos con profesores locales e internacionales, conciertos, exhibiciones, conferencias y muchas otras actividades.

TANGO TECHNIQUE is dedicated to :
-- ALL LEVELS
-- BOTH ROLES
-- YOU,  WHO WANT TO DEVELOP  DANCE TECHNIQUE
-- NO PARTNER NEEDED. YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASS ALONE.
-- Welcome DANCERS OF OTHER DISCIPLINES, that want to improve TANGO related Technique.



SCHEDULE
  • 5 CLASSES intensive course
  • WEDNESDAYS 18.00 - 19.00
  • 23 April , 7 - 14 - 21 - 28 May
  • You may participate at single classes (Read bellow)


CONTENT /METHOD
  • Focused in a specific theme  each class, get fully explained essential TANGO TECHNIQUE CONCEPTS, and train them in different movements/sequences.
  • Concepts / movements from several other disciplines (ballet, jazz, pilates, yoga, etc. ) will help you to improve your Tango dance.
  • Learn HOW TO APPLY PRACTICALLY  TECHNIQUE CONCEPTS in real dance situations, TO DEVELOP YOUR DANCE
  • Get every class concepts of Body dynamic, movements Technique, use of the space, improvement of movements efficiency through appropriate use of the energy and breathing, essential musical interpretation connected with the theme on focus.  
  • Balance, pivot, dissociation, body alignment, body weight management, coordination, synchronization, energy and speed management, patterns,  among many other themes, will be the focus of this and coming courses. 


WHAT TO EXPECT?
  • Every participant in this group class will train alone, following  own tempo
  • You train in front of the mirror, in small group, guided by the teacher
  • Get personalized guidance depending on your needs/ level/ requirements
  • Get personalized advice and home training exercises to deepen the concepts
  • By participating in the course, get 2  free entrances to train/ dance at the Wednesday Practica during the course weeks.  

REQUIREMENTS
  • Stretching clothes /sportive clothes
  • Flat shoes /socks to train without shoes
  • Tango shoes if you want.
  • Please, let us know about any health situation, specially those affecting body mobility temporarily or in long term, before starting the course/ class.

  • You might attend to SINGLE CLASSES, with a higher fee, not including any free Practica.

WHAT PRACTICA MEANS ?

- Practica is an space where you train your movements and your dance, in this case assisted by a teacher, that answer your questions, help to develop your movements, suggests alternative solutions. That assistance is available only if you require it.
- You may as well exchange movements/ sequences with other dancers/ couples who are in the place if you wish, since Practica means an space of learning, training and developing.
- We play varied music / different orchestras, and some tandas with milonga and vals.
- The dance room is fully illuminated and mirrors are available because training is the main purpose of a Practica

Dj Marcelo Rojas playing at La T on Tuesday 6 June: A real TANGO PARTY!


FANTASTIC Tango week at LA T TANGO MALMÖ!

On Tuesday we had a SPECIAL MILONGA with DJ MARCELO ROJAS. The evening became a real Tango party, with the most extraordinary atmosphere and outstanding music, full of joy, dancing and many friends joining from all over south of Sweden and Denmark

The joy and high tempo continued on Wednesday classes and Practica, and Thursday´s new start of Intensive 4 weeks courses.

LA T PRACTICA MALMÖ - Wednesdays from 15 March : 2 TECHNIQUE CLASSES ( alone training) + Teacher assisted PRACTICA


WELCOME to  LA T PRACTICA MALMÖ !
Every Wednesday enjoy our both TECHNIQUE CLASSES , 
and afterwards 2 hours PRACTICA.

 
Dance and train at the Practica, and if you wish, get advice or help from a teacher.

SCHEDULE:
  • 17.30 - 18.30 : CLASS: Tango technique & Ornaments.
  • 18.30 - 19.30 : CLASS: Repertoire & Rhythmical sequences.
  • 19.30 - 21.30 : teacher assisted PRACTICA 
>>> OBS: Participate in single activities or combine as you wish!


HOW CLASSES & PRACTICA WORK?
  • ATTEND ALONE OR IN COUPLE
  • NO NEED TO REGISTER!
  • Wednesday CLASSES are solo training: Train technique, ornaments, sequences and musicality alone, without partner


FEE:
  • 1 CLASS: 80 kr members, 100 kr non-members
  • 2 CLASSES: 140 kr members, 180 kr non-members
  • PRACTICA: 70 kr members, 90 kr non-members
  • 1 CLASS + PRACTICA: 140 kr members, 180 kr non-members
  • 2 CLASSES + PRACTICA: 170 kr members, 210 kr non- member
SUMMER SEASON MEMBERSHIP: 70 kr.
Membership gives you discount on classes/ practica on Wednesday, and classes/ milonga on Tuesdays, and also special raffles and other gifts along the season

WHAT PRACTICA MEANS ?

- Practica is an space where you train your movements and your dance, in this case assisted by a teacher, that answer your questions, help to develop your movements, suggests alternative solutions. That assistance is available only if you require it.
- You may as well exchange movements/ sequences with other dancers/ couples who are in the place if you wish, since Practica means an space of learning, training and developing.
- We play varied music / different orchestras, and some tandas with milonga and vals.
- The dance room is fully illuminated and mirrors are available because training is the main purpose of a Practica
