for ALL LEVEL tango dancers 

at  LA  T  TANGO  Malmö!

SCHEDULE

• 5 CLASSES intensive course
• WEDNESDAYS 19.00 - 20.00
• 19 - 26 March , 2 - 9 - 16 April

• You may participate at single classes (Read bellow)

CONTENTS

• Essential concepts of LEADING/ FOLLOWING and adaptation of the EMBRACE to communicate with different partners in different roles.
•  CONNECTION WITH THE PARTNER, that will allow us to exchange roles easily.
• Displacements, all options combining eight back and forward, basic giros and basic sacadas and all possible combinations among them,  will be our starting point.  
• All classes include own Technique and Technique for couple, musical interpretation (own and couple)  and use of the space. 

WHAT TO EXPECT?

• We exchange role permanently in order to familiarize with leading/following, giving/receiving signals, participation of both dancers in the use of the space and music interpretation.  
• We learn and train both roles for each movement/ sequence. We will change partners.
• Basic movements will be summarize to build up some simple sequences.
• Get personalized guidance depending on your needs/ level/ requirements
• By participating in the course, get 2  free entrances to train/ dance at the Wednesday Practica during the course weeks.  

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum tango knowledge/ experience in the dance floor needed.
• You do not need to attend with own partner.

GOOD TO KNOW!

• Registration and payment in advance required for the courses.
• You might attend to SINGLE CLASSES, with a higher fee, not including any free Practica. 
• WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO SIGN UP FOR WHOLE COURSE, getting better fee, free practica and continuity in the learning process.
• Languages: SWEDISH, ENGLISH, SPANISH
• BOTH WEDNESDAY COURSES ( Tango Double Role and Tango Technique ) are open to ALL LEVELS.

FEE:

• COURSE: 600 kr   
•  GET  5 hours classes + 2 hours training/dancing at  Practica)
• PACK   2 COURSES: 1000 kr. 
• TANGO TECHNIQUE (18.00 -19.00) + TANGO DOUBLE ROLE (19.00-20.00)
• GET 10 hours classes + 4 hours training/ dancing at Practica)
• SINGLE CLASS: 130 kr.

• 2 WEDNESDAY  CLASSES: 230 kr
• PRACTICA WEDNESDAY: 40 kr (LA T members) , 60 kr (non members)
• 1 CLASS + PRACTICA:  160 kr.
• WEDNESDAY PACKAGE ( 2 classes + Practica) : 250 kr.




• Summer season membership at LA T: 80 kr. Membership gives you discounted fee at Tuesdays classes and Milonga, and discounted fee at Wednesday Practica

• 18.00 Dansa Tango! The tango dance party (Milonga) starts with Dj Marcela Troncoso
• 20.30 End of Milonga. End of the event.

PARALLEL ACTIVITIES:

• The film "It is Not Tango: The Dissident Embrace" is shown during the day with a break of about 20 minutes between each screening.
• Sales of alfajores, medialunas with and without dulce de leche and empanadas from Alfajores Dulcita.

La T milonga in Malmö in the times of coronavirus

LA T MILONGA IN MALMÖ .. about Corona Virus:

After consulting official sources, talking to doctors, and using my objective analysis capacity due to my education as a doctor during 6 years at UBA Buenos Aires University, right now LA T MILONGA IS OPEN EVERY TUESDAY TO THOSE WHO WANT TO DANCE TANGO.

To AVOID RISKS and PREVENT SPREAD of Corona virus WE ASK YOU:

• STAY AT HOME IF YOU HAVE TRAVELLED ABROAD IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS or have been in contact with people who travelled.......... WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT THIS !
• Stay at home and seek for immediate medical care if you have symptoms fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
• DO NOT PANIC ! You still have to work, shop, and keep a normal life, AND DANCING IS A PART OF YOUR NORMAL LIFE.
• KEEP UPDATED ONLY WITH RELIABLE INFORMATION from official institutions. Remember that behind panic in the media is always a millions business.
• FOLLOW HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS already known ( WASH HANDS with soup FREQUENTLY AND PROPERLY, AVOID TO TOUCH YOUR FACE, USE DISINFECTANT GELS, among others)
• Avoid dancing abroad the coming weeks until the situation becomes more clear.

WE WILL FOLLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SITUATION. AND WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WE WILL TAKE ALL NECESSARY DECISIONS TO GUARANTEE THE HEALTH OF EVERYBODY.
WE BUILD A HEALTHY TANGO COMMUNITY ALL TOGETHER.
