This tuesday 21th March, we will have our monthly special edition, dancing to the music of LA MILONGA DE LOS FAVORITOS , and lottery with very nice tango prizes ..

Meet your friends, enjoy our traditional "fika" and dance to our selection of music, that we specially chose every week among the most selected repertoire of the tango history!

Before MILONGA you may participate in two classes:

BEGINNERS TANGO COURSE
- 17.30 till 18.30.
- Course started on tuesday 7th, 17.30-18.30, and lasts for 6 weeks

OPEN TANGO CLASS / DROP IN:
- 18.30 till 19.30.
- to all levels
- Different thematic every tuesday
- This tuesday: WALK + MUSIC: Walking and playing with the music, adapted the different tango styles
- You do not need to attend in couple. Not registration in advance


MILONGA will take place after the class, from 19.30 till 22.00.

- Milonga: Members 60 kr, non members 70 kr,
- Membership for summer season: 60 kr.

Beginners Tango course at La T milonga in Malmö starting on 7th March!

Welcome to TANGO!

BEGINNERS LEVEL I-II, INTENSIVE TANGO COURSE

----- to learn FAST, in an EASY and FUN way in a FRIENDLY environment.

WELCOME:
- You, complete beginner who want to learn from scratch
- You who want to repeat the basics of tango
- You, the follower who wants to learn leader role
- You, the leader who wants to learn follower role

Classes are held in Swedish, but english / spanish translation is available...

6 CLASSES, TUESDAYS 17:30 to 18:30

PART 1: 7 March  until 11 April

 Join PART 2 of the course afterwards! (18 April  until 23 May).

VENUE: Ungdomens Hus, Torpgatan 21, Malmö. (2 min. walking distance from Triangeln)

Thanks for a wonderful 2016 together at La T milonga in Malmö! And looking forward for more tuesday´s tango with you on 2017!

I would like to thank all tango friends who came yesterday to La T milonga to be part of our last milonga of the year.

Many old friends, many students, many new friends, from all Skåne and even from Stockholm.

Thank you, as well,  to all who joined the potluck before milonga, for all delicious food you brought, and for sharing the meal together.
Congratulation to those who won at our Lottey, free entrance for the coming season, free private classes, and free day pass for open class and milonga!

Big thanks to all who participate to any of our tuesday´s tango nights at La T. Without you, there´s not meeting. My respect and apreciattion to all you dancers, beginners, experienced, milongueros, attendants to marathons or festivals, in all ages.

Without dancers there is no milonga. And without milongas our passion for dancing tango has not possibility to express.

 

La T born as meeting space. An space where everyone is included, where everyone´s activities are announced, and where the dance is consider an human embrace and not a place for competition. Because in the dance floor we are all equal: we are all dancers.

 

That is our inspiration, and we will keep working hard to make it true for everybody.

LA T MILONGA in Malmö on 13 December: Last milonga of the year with Potluck and Lottery

Welcome to La T, tuesday´s milonga in Malmö!

This tuesday 13 December we'll have our VERY SPECIAL last night of the year with " MILONGA DE LOS FAVORITOS " as theme, dancing to our favorite songs that we all love!.

Join us in our traditional POTLUCK / KNYTKALAS, before milonga to celebrate all those wonderful nights we have enjoyed together.

We will also have our traditional LOTTERY with very special prices, including free entrance to next season and free private and group classes.

Obs. NO CLASSES this last tuesday. Only Knytkalas and milonga

If you join Knytkalas (18.00 - 19.30):
- We appreciate if you let us know in advance
- Bring some simple meal tol share, cheeses, pie, salad, or maybe a dessert?.
- Remember that we do not have possibility to reheat food.
- If you want to drink something special bring it.
- Disposable cutlery will be provided

LA T recommends: 11/12 Tango in Malmö: Art exhibition + Heiskanen Kapell concert

After many years off without exhibition, I will show my Tango caricatures . Inspiration sourse is us dancers, when we dance, Tango history, tango lyrics, and some daily life circumstances that we bring into tango.

Exhibition will take place in Panora, Folkets Bio in Malmö, Friisgatan 19 D, on sunday 11 December, as celebration of the International Tango day.

In this very special night images will integrate together with music to interprete the passion for tango, and the role of the woman in tango.

 Highlight of the night is the concert "Från urkraft till Piazzolla" by the quartet of female musicians Heiskanen Kapell, with musical direction by Hedda Heiskanen. More details about the concert and the who...le arrangement by Klubb Baires:https://www.facebook.com/events/1832722367014750/

 

Vernissage with mingle starts at 15.00. And concert starts at 16.00 and last for around one hour.
Paintings/drawings are exhibited only that day, from 15.00 to 18.00.
