A lovely night and the celebration of our organizer´s 26 years anniversary dancing tango

It was a wonderful evening at La T milonga yesterday.  

I was celebrating my 26 years with tango. 10 March 1994, exactly 26 years ago, I had my first tango class in Buenos Aires.

That day changed my life for ever, gave me chance to find my vocation by following my passion, and brought me years later to Sweden  to spread a little of my argentinean culture, far away from home, from family and friends.

Looking backwards, something that we all should do more often, I only can say THANKS,  because  all what I find there is the most amazing life journey: I´m alive, dancing, surrounded by friends and a tango community that keeps growing because of the enthusiasm and cooperation of all you, tango friends, students, colleagues, and tango enthusiastic. 

I hope life keeps giving me the precious gift, and the responsibility, to enjoy tango every day and share that enjoyment with all people around me. 

 
THANKS  finally to all friends who were there. Thanks for the flowers, the tango you gifted me, all love I get every day and all help that I so much appreciate. 

In hard times, like this one, as in good times, at the end the only that matter is LOVE.

THANKS EVERYBODY THERE FOR BEING PART OF MY LIFE!

La T milonga in Malmö in the times of coronavirus

LA T MILONGA IN MALMÖ .. about Corona Virus:

After consulting official sources, talking to doctors, and using my objective analysis capacity due to my education as a doctor during 6 years at UBA Buenos Aires University, right now LA T MILONGA IS OPEN EVERY TUESDAY TO THOSE WHO WANT TO DANCE TANGO.

To AVOID RISKS and PREVENT SPREAD of Corona virus WE ASK YOU:

• STAY AT HOME IF YOU HAVE TRAVELLED ABROAD IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS or have been in contact with people who travelled.......... WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT THIS !
• Stay at home and seek for immediate medical care if you have symptoms fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
• DO NOT PANIC ! You still have to work, shop, and keep a normal life, AND DANCING IS A PART OF YOUR NORMAL LIFE.
• KEEP UPDATED ONLY WITH RELIABLE INFORMATION from official institutions. Remember that behind panic in the media is always a millions business.
• FOLLOW HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS already known ( WASH HANDS with soup FREQUENTLY AND PROPERLY, AVOID TO TOUCH YOUR FACE, USE DISINFECTANT GELS, among others)
• Avoid dancing abroad the coming weeks until the situation becomes more clear.

WE WILL FOLLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SITUATION. AND WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WE WILL TAKE ALL NECESSARY DECISIONS TO GUARANTEE THE HEALTH OF EVERYBODY.
WE BUILD A HEALTHY TANGO COMMUNITY ALL TOGETHER.
WE ALL WANT TO DANCE, AND TO BE SAFE AT THE SAME TIME.

A lovely night at La T on 25th February!

It was a LOVELY night  at LA T MILONGA in Malmö on 25th February.

We had the pleasure to introduced to Malmö tango community an argentinean dance couple who were visiting Sweden for first time, Alejandro Lencina & Agustina Gomez. 

We had a very inspiring workshop with our guest teachers Agustina & Alejandro, that was highly appreciated  

Afterwards we had a wonderful flow at the dance floor, with lot of fun and interesting conversations. 

Thanks to all friends who were there sharing with us like every Tuesday. And thanks for all help I got.

Next week we start Beginners Tango course.

Welcome to this special night at La T with workshop about MODERN MILONGUERO STYLE: "INTERNAL & EXTERNAL SPIRAL MOVEMENTS"

On Tuesday 25th February we are happy to present our guest teachers from Buenos Aires, AGUSTINA GOMEZ & ALEJANDRO LENCINA.

AIM OF THE WORKSHOP
---- Improve basic technical aspects about Spiral movements.
---- Get to know from the basics Internal and external Spiral movements, and how to use them to create your own sequences.
---- Experience the dynamic on the dance floor including the musical aspects.

GOOD TO KNOW!
---- Open to all levels. Some basic tango knowledge required.
---- You may attend alone or in couple.
---- Milonga fee is included in the price of the workshop. Enjoy and dance at MLONGA MILONGUERA at La T milonga afterwards,19-30- 22.00 !

ABOUT AGUSTINA GOMEZ & ALEJANDRO LENCINA:

"... eager to share their love for traditional tango ": that is how they define themselves.
With background in many dances and tango styles they have chosen the modern tango milonguero style.
Besides their starting with tango at a very young age, Agustina is also certified teacher in Ballet and Pilates, and has studied Contemporary dance and Argentine folklore, and Alejandro started as Argentine Folklore dancer, adding later on Salsa and Caribbean dances.
Finalists in 2017 at world Championship "Mundial de Tango" and Buenos Aires Championship "Campeonato de la Ciudad", they teach and perform regularly in Argentina and in Festivals in Europe, being highly appreciated because of their pedagogy and human values..


WORKSHOP FEE:
160 kr. members, 170 kr. non members.
- Milonga afterwards until 22.00 is included in the fee
- We invite with Coffee, tea, fruits, and cookies during the milonga
- Would you like to be member of La T? : Season Membership for 2020 summer season: 60 Kr.
