La T milonga is an space OPEN TO EVERYBODY, dancers, tango enthusiasts, teachers, and artists in general from all Sweden and abroad, where everybody shares KNOWLEDGE AND PASSION FOR TANGO, no matter level or origin, from an OPEN-MINDED VIEWPOINT. LA T, weekly meeting point for Malmö´s tango community, offers the traditional milonga (dancing meeting), open classes, courses with local and guest teachers, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and many others activities.

T significa TANGO. La T milonga es un espacio abierto a todos, bailarines, musicos, entusiastas y profesores de tango, y artistas en general de toda Suecia y otros paies, para compartir el conocimiento y la pasion por el tango, sin importar nivel ni origen, desde una mentalidad abierta. La T , punto de encuentro semanal para la comunidad tanguera de Malmö, ofrece milonga (encuentro para bailar), clases abiertas, cursos con profesores locales e internacionales, conciertos, exhibiciones, conferencias y muchas otras actividades.

Tipica Tangarte at La T tango celebrating Marcela Troncoso 20 year as ta...
Less than a minute of our Tango night at La T, with live music by Tipica Tangarte orchestra, celebrating 20 year anniversary as tango dancer of La T organizer Marcela Troncoso.
You all have filled my day with love, lots of gifts, hugs, congratulations, from all over the world. Again you surprised me by donating money in my name for Doctors Without Borders. I´m speechless. And I cried a lot. Sorry if it was a little "too" emotional. But that's me. And I will not hide it. Thanks to my friends from Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, Stockholm, Trelleborg, Ystad, Kristianstad, Ronneby, Copenhagen and even Chile, which have filled La T to celebrate with me my 20 years with tango.
When I think that there are those who travel two or three hours to be every Tuesday at La T milonga in Malmö, I feel like all I´m doing is really meaningful . When someone tells me, as has happened more than once today, "long, long time ago, that I´m not dancing tango but today I could not miss your celebration" I feel that, when I chose to dance tango rather than working as doctor, l did the right choice.

Thanks to those who inspired me and those who helped make this happen, those who are always there, no matter what is going on. And I do not need to name them, because they are in my heart. I promise to speak better swedish when celebrate my 40 years with tango. And I promise to do better things for myself and for all of you every day.
