CONCERT:  ANNA HEIKKINEN & LÄNGTANS  KAPELL (trio) 

With a strong presence and tender dialogue between voices and instruments, personal interpretations of the Finnish tango are offered.
The powerful and passionate must meet the soft and fragile.
The group has toured extensively with their performance Satumaa-Sagolandet and are now up to date with their debut album Omenatango.

MILONGA (SOCIAL DANCE) :  DJ MARCELA TRONCOSO 

Milonga starts right after concert. Dj Marcela plays traditional tango with a touch of Tango Nuevo, and will also surprise us with Finnish tango for dancing, so don't forget your shoes at home and dance to the hottest tandas.

SCHEDULE

• Admission at 19.00
• Concert starts at 19.45 (without break).
• Closing time: 24.00.

VENUE: Barnens Scen, Folkets Park, Malmö.

During the evening, there will be coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, cookies, Karelian pies and empanadas for sale.

All payment via card, Swish or cash (grateful for as even money as possible).

 Anna Heikkinen & Längtans Kapell have during their years together developed an advanced interplay and close musical communication. 

They play traditional Finnish tango which they interpret and arrange, focusing on finding their own unique voices in a musical tradition with many well-known predecessors. It has been an exciting process to find themselves in this music, and they have created a heartfelt expression that on stage is woven together with personal stories and a close audience connection.

TANGO FOLKS MALMÖ

The association TangoFolk Malmö was founded in 2008 by the members of the tango orchestra Orquesta Tangarte,  to present various types of events: concerts, lectures, workshops, dance evenings, courses and collaborations with other associations and artists. 

TangoFolk Malmö aims to spread the Rio Platense tango in all its forms: art, music, dance, film and other cultural expressions, with one foot in today's new urban pulse.


KLUBB BAIRES is a series of concerts with tango as a common thread. 

In a unique musical spectrum, KLUBB BAIRES encounter a rich and cross-border content where diversity and equality are in focus. 

Different types of artists and ensembles – from female DJs to solo pianists and string quartets – present different aspects of tango as a genre.
